Section 101 to 106 have absurd rules for departing the ship. They treat sailors like criminals, which is absolutely ridiculous. Needs to change.

Bronte Harbour
I use this road a lot on my way to Toronto. Today I especially wanted to see the Bronte region. The port is beautiful and big. The marina is also excellent. Many yachts are anchored, some of them were taken to sledges for repairs. However, I loved seeing this parking lot in the harbor. a wide area, I think, many public events and festivals are held in this wide area. You can even come to Brontë to watch the swans swimming in the canals. The Canadian wooden seats in the park are wonderful. I also loved the pictures and inscriptions on the small stones on the black square Rocks in the park. Multi-colored and ornamental stones. I think the children love these stones. When I entered Bronte, I immediately thought it was one of the seaside towns in England.. I compared it to a Dover or Folkstone. It felt very warm to me with the body. The roads. Very clean and orderly. The people are respectful to each other. I promised myself to come again.

Great place for salmon and trout fishing. Good boat launch if you have a boat with lots of parking. For those who don't have a boat you can always go to the pier.

Port of St John
Best port I've been to in a long time. Really well run, everything was on time and up to standard. Very rectangular containers. Superb value for your money. Though, come to think of it, Port of Nanaimo had better snack bars.

Great marina and boat club. Both are fair priced, clean and helpful. A good experience. All amenities. Great staff.

Nanaimo Harbour
Visiting the harbor was an enchanting experience that provided a much-needed escape from the bustling city life. Nestled along the tranquil waterfront, this harbor offered a serene setting that instantly put me at ease. The picturesque views of the bobbing sailboats, gentle waves, and colorful sunsets were simply mesmerizing. The harbor’s ambiance created a peaceful atmosphere, perfect for leisurely strolls along the promenade or simply sitting back and enjoying the maritime charm. The variety of activities available at the harbor was impressive. From boat tours and water sports to charming cafes and boutique shops, there was something for everyone. I particularly enjoyed taking a leisurely boat ride, exploring the surrounding islands and feeling the gentle sea breeze on my face. The harbor also boasted an array of dining options, ranging from quaint seafood shacks to upscale waterfront restaurants. It was a delight to savor the freshest catches of the day while enjoying the stunning views of the harbor. The cleanliness and maintenance of the harbor were commendable. The well-kept walkways, beautifully landscaped areas, and clearly marked signage added to the overall experience. The only minor drawback was the occasional crowds during peak times, which could make finding a parking spot a bit challenging. However, the vibrant atmosphere and the wide range of attractions more than made up for this small inconvenience.Overall, the harbor was a tranquil haven that offered a perfect escape from everyday life. Its serene ambiance, captivating views, and diverse activities made it an ideal destination for individuals and families alike. Whether you seek relaxation, adventure, or simply a peaceful retreat by the water’s edge, this harbor is definitely worth a visit.
